Privacy Policy

Section 1: Privacy Policy for Operators, Vendors & Contractors
This section applies to all individuals and business entities applying to be, or currently serving as, Operators, Vendors, or Contractors (collectively "Operators") for the Neighborhood Uplift Project via our Vendor Onboarding and Contractor Intake systems.
1. Information We Collect During Onboarding
To safely and legally onboard operators through our intake forms, we collect:
- Business & Identity Information: Individual names, Business Name (DBA or LLC), contact details (email, phone, address).
- Professional Credentials & Service Offerings: Contractor licenses, specific trade skills/specialties, equipment available, and service coverage areas.
- Compliance & Insurance Details: Proof of general liability insurance, workers' compensation coverage, and bonding information.
- Financial & Tax Data: W-9 forms, Taxpayer Identification Numbers (TIN) or SSNs for sole proprietors, and direct deposit/banking information for contractor payouts.
- Vetting Data: Consent for background checks and professional references.
2. How We Use Vendor & Operator Data
The collected onboarding data is utilized exclusively to verify your contractor status, ensure compliance with local regulations and organizational safety standards, route appropriate project opportunities to your business, and facilitate timely payments. Tax documents and financial data are processed securely for IRS reporting and accounts payable purposes.
3. Data Sharing & Client Interactions
Operator Safety & Privacy: When assigned to a project, clients will be provided with your Business Name, primary contact name, professional qualifications, and scheduled arrival time. Your personal/business financial data, TIN/SSN, and private addresses will never be shared with clients.
We may share necessary compliance data (e.g., license status, insurance validity) with municipal permitting offices if required for a specific neighborhood project.
4. Operator Rights & Retention
Operators may request to update their business profiles, renew insurance documents on file, or request off-boarding. Tax and payout information must be retained for up to seven (7) years to comply with federal and state tax laws, after which it is securely destroyed.
Section 2: Privacy Policy for Clients
This section applies to all residents, homeowners, and community members applying for or receiving services ("Clients") from the Neighborhood Uplift Project.
1. Information We Collect from Clients
To assess eligibility and safely deliver services, we collect:
- Contact & Property Information: Name, service address, phone number, and property condition assessments.
- Household Details: Demographic data, income verification, and household size.
- Health & Accessibility Data: Specific physical accessibility requirements or health conditions.
2. Who Sees Your Information?
Your privacy is our priority. Assigned Operators receive only the necessary project details and address. No personal identifying information (PII) is ever sold to or shared with marketers.
